Founded in 2002, Beijing SOJO Electric Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock high-tech enterprise, whose registered capital is 86.21 millon RMB. Currently there are more than 400 employees. The headquarter is located at Zhongguancun Shangdi Information Industry Zone, Beijing. The factory is located at Huairou Yanqi Economic Development Area. The land area of factory is 24012 sqm, the building area is 24800 sqm. SOJO is mainly engaged in the research, production, sales and international trading of power distribution equipments and automation equipment in the field of 35kv (or lower) power transmission and distribution.        SOJO is key supported enterprise by Beijing Zhongguancun, Municipal level of technology center, Beijing Patent Trial Company, Beijing tax credit A Level company and was named as “Forbes China Best SMEs” in the year of 2010 and 2011. In February, 2009, SOJO was officially listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) (Stock Code: 430049; Stock name: SOJO Electric).   SOJO is the first batch of domestic companies which independently research and produce ring power distribution equipments, has nearly hundred products including switching station, cable network equipment, overhead network equipment, high and low voltage switchgear assemblies, intelligent switchgear, power distribution remote monitoring system, fault detection equipment, cable accessories and etc. The products such as switching station, ring main units, cable distribution cabinet, box type transformer substation, pole mounted switch and etc. are intensively and stably used in the State Grid, China Southern Power Grid and their sub-companies of province level or municipal level, power plant, wind power industry, railway and aviation industry, petroleum and chemical industry, mining industry and other industries.   SOJO’s core technology product “Solid Insulated RMU” is the low-carbon environment friendly product in the medium voltage switchgear industry in the worldwide. The entire technical indexes are superior to traditional insulated RMU. SOJO’s Solid Insulated RMU has international patent and is brand new product in China and also has been listed in the National Key New Product, Beijing Independent Innovation Product Category and “Beijing Torch Project” Key Promoting New Product Category. In September, 2011, the product has been officially listed in the “The first batch of Key Promotion New Technology Category of State Grid”, so that the market scenario is promising. At present, SOJO has applied for over 60 patents for this product, 29 patents of which have been awarded, owned completely independent intellectual property rights. In April, 2012, solid insulated RMU has successfully passed Full Type Test at KEMA in accordance with relevant International IEC Standards, which made the solid foundation for the SOJO’s product going into the world market and also opened a new phase for the industry of solid insulated RMU.   The manufacture base of SOJO has advanced production equipments and testing equipments, such as Helium leak detector, salt spray chamber, current generator and etc. There are more than 100 technic engineers and relevant technic staff, which form a young team with strength and potential in the power distribution industry providing services with high quality. Currently, SOJO is actively preparing the construction work of second phase of manufacture base to meet the bulky sales demand. After coming into production, SOJO will own the largest solid insulated RMU manufacture base in China and the newly increased production value will be over 1 billion RMB.     In the future 3 to 5 years, SOJO will keep its steps in the production of power transmission and distribution equipments and control equipments, focuse on the market segment of RMU which will be the direction of business development.
